Hi, I’m Jennifer. I’ve been in the Jewellery industry for over 43 years as a 2nd generation jeweler of our family business A Touch of Gold (originally Boehner’s Jewellery & Gift).
After graduating from MRHS and working at the PEI Heritage foundation, my parents decided on a “whim” to purchase a Milestone Jewellery Store – thus my new profession began very quickly. I’ve always loved the finer things so learning about what you love became easy. I enjoyed every aspect of interacting with people to create memories of giving and receiving the perfect jewellery. I have always loved the challenge of re-designing worn our family heirlooms into something spectacular that still tells a story.
Born on PEI, a true islander and raised in a rural small town, gave me the business goals to always succeed within our community and beyond by offering exceptional services through well trained employees and offering quality at a great price. The most meaningful part is our customers have become like family, and I enjoy the interaction to create or find the perfect piece of jewellery.
My interests while not at work are travelling in our motorhome, kayaking, and spending time with family & friends. I feel very blessed to still have both my parents, my 3 children and my many grandchildren. Spare time in winter is now spent as a Hockey Nanny cheering in the crowds and summers collecting sea glass or sitting at the beach.
I am currently an active member of the Rotary Club of Montague & Eastern PEI and is a director of the PEI Easter Seal Organization. I have served at every level to excel in her field. Highlights of my career were President of the Canadian Jewellery Buying Group and directorships, as well as President of the Atlantic Provinces Jewellers Association, where powerful groups are helped to improve performance and work ethics within the workplace to achieve at the highest level. I am very proud of all the accomplishments and awards our store has received over 42 years. We have maintained a level of excellence within our community and our industry, by means of all of us working as a team.
I am powerfully motivated to improve performance as well as support local and island charities as well as youth sports. All these aspects are driven by a passion of perseverance to achieve at the highest level. The key to our success is observing and listening to our trades people, our clients, our employees and colleagues.

Hi! I'm Ashley. I've been in the jewellery industry for close to 30 years, and am a third generation jeweller of our family owned business, A Touch of Gold.
At a very young age, I had a love for fine jewellery. Many Saturdays growing up, you'd find me playing dress up jeweller in the basement at our original location on Main Street, where my Grampie (Merrill Scott) would be repairing jewellery and watches. I love every aspect of creating one of a kind jewellery. My satisfaction comes from seeing our customer's emotional reaction to the jewellery we have created or designed. Jewellery is a personal reflection of who you are. Let the jewellery you wear be a reflection of who you are!
Born and raised as a small town girl in rural Prince Edward Island, I believe exceptional customer service and quality workmanship is everything. I feel very grateful to lead an amazing team of professional women in the jewellery industry.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my partner Grant. I am proud of my own children, Reese and Ty, who are becoming remarkable young adults, as are my step children Molly, Jessica and Ryan, whom I am very blessed and proud to have in my life. Most nights you'll find me at the hockey rink, cheering on our kids!
I currently deliver for Meals on Wheels, and sit as a Communications Liaison for KCK. I have managed numerous hockey teams, and coached soccer.
