Fine Jewellery Appraisals

Most insurance policies will require an up to date appraisal on any fine jewellery covered under insurance policies. A Touch Of Gold is able to provide full written appraisals with colour photo and detailed descriptions of each piece of your jewellery.

In most cases, your jewellery will be appraised by our goldsmith, and will take approximately 10 business days to complete.  Cost for this service is $85.00 plus HST, (per item) payable at the time of pick up.

On site written appraisals are also available, with proper documentation, and will take approximately 2 business days to complete.  Cost for this service is $50.00 plus HST, (per item) payable at the time of pickup.

We also host appraisal clinics, where we have a gemologist come to A Touch Of Gold, who will view your items on site and verbally point out the characteristics of your jewellery and also provide written appraisals.  Written appraisals usually take 7 to 10 business days to arrive in store, and staff will call to arrange pick up.  The appeal of an appraisal clinic is not having to part with your beloved pieces of jewellery!
